Between Me and The Night Launches on Early Access

 

Between Me and The Night, a surreal action adventure game has now launched for Early Access on Steam for PC and Mac. Developed by RainDance LX, the game sees you as a young boy living in a mysterious house. You must explore and interact with your surroundings, solving puzzles, discovering hidden places, and in turn “overcome the shadows of the night.”

It’s described as a “game that walks the thin path between sanity and madness”, and judging from the trailer and screenshots it’s easy to see why, with strange creatures roaming the halls, and mysterious atmospheric locations (one part seems to show you battling monsters in a snow storm). It certainly looks like a quirky, colourful title with a lot of potential.

A press release stated “the Early Access release gives gamers the opportunity to experience a major part of the game prior to release and provide feedback”, also confirming that the game will release in full mid-October.

We are in possession of a preview copy of the game; however we have been informed that there are some issues with the build. With any luck these will be sorted and we can produce a review of the game’s Early Access state shortly. For now there are some screenshots and a trailer to peruse, but keep an eye out for future coverage from us.
