Official release date and Collector Edition unveiled for Monster Hunter World #TGS2017

Capcom has gone ahead and confirmed the release date for the console versions of Monster Hunter World, which will be on the 26th of January next year. A PC release date has not been confirmed yet unfortunately, which will follow at a later date. Furthermore some pre-order and special edition details have also been unveiled.

Those who pre-order the game, either digitally or physically on the PS4 and Xbox One through retailers will receive bonuses such as the Origin Set armour and the Fair Wind Charm Talisman that improve starting defence and offence stat boosts for hunters.

The Digital Deluxe Edition on the other hand for Europe will include additional customisation options such as the Samurai Skin Set,  three gestures, two sticker sets, plus an extra face paint and hair style option for the hunter. The PS4 version of the Digital Deluxe Ddition also includes 14 weapon-themed PSN avatars.

There was something revealed for the collection savvy gamers, which was a physical collector’s Edition of the game for PS4 and Xbox One, that comes with a voucher of for the Deluxe Edition contents as mentioned above, an art book, a high-quality flagship monster statue, and soundtrack CD all bundled in a uniquely designed collector’s box.

Also, a custom Japanese PS4 Pro Monster Hunter: World Edition was also announced, that will come with a custom designed PS4 and controller, and although the controller itself looks cluttered, the console is visually appealing. There is currently no news on this bundle releasing outside Japan and its likely that there never will be sadly.

Lastly, be sure to check out the gameplay from Tokyo Game Show 2017, which introduces you to brand new dangers in Monster Hunter World’s treacherous setting, as well as a batch of new screenshots.
