Pac-Man Museum Cancelled For eShop, PSN: Feb 25th, XBLA/Steam: Feb 26th

Pac-Man Museum is a collection of Pac-Man games set for release on PSN, XBLA, Steam and the Windows Store, but no longer on the Nintendo eShop. Yesterday the publisher announced release dates for the game with the Wii U and 3DS dates absent. Nintendo Everything followed up with Namco Bandai to see what the problem was, where a representative told them the game was cancelled, “as a result of delayed development,”.

Personally I don’t blame them for dropping the Wii U version, but surely it’s worth the investment to continue on the 3DS ? If you’re still interested in playing the game, it releases on PSN on February 25th and XBLA/Steam the following day. The collection includes Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Land, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack, Pac-Man Remix, Pac-Man Battle Royale, Pac-Man Championship Edition and Ms. Pac-Man.
