Payday: The Heist No Mercy Trailer

A trailer has been released for the game collaboration between developers Valve and Overkill. Payday: The Heist No Mercy is supposedly a prequel to the events of Left 4 Dead, hence it taken place in the No Mercy hospital. It’s unknown as to whether this is a DLC for Payday: The Heist or a brand new game, all we can tell you is that from the trailer it looks to be very promising and could provide for some truly exceptional co-op. Versus in particular could be a potential game winner, with one side playing as the robbers and the other as special infected.

If you look closely at the 1:16 mark in the trailer you will see an enemy who looks rather like this chap in Left 4 Dead 2. (See image below):

Could this possible mean that the infection will take place the same time that you are robbing the place? We will have to wait for further information on this, so keep checking back.

It’s interesting to note that the official Payday: The Heist Youtube channel recently took down this video. No word has been given on what platforms this will be released on, but if it is DLC then you could expect it on Playstation 3 only, if not then hopefully PC and Xbox 360 as well.
