Powerhouse Brawler Floyd Iraia Announced as Final Streets of Rage 4 Character

The fourth and final playable character has been announced for Streets of Rage 4 and it’s the “Cybernetic Powerhouse” Floyd Iraia.  In previous games in this iconic series, it’s only been playable with up-to 2-player co-op, but this long-awaited release will now boost that playable number up-to 4-players.  However, it will only be the offline co-op that will feature 4-player, as online only caters for 2-players.

Floyd will be powered by “incredibly strong cybernetic arms”, an upgrade that was courtesy of Dr. Zan from Streets of Rage 3.  While Floyd will be slower than the other three playable characters, his brute force and long reach will more than make up for that discrepancy.

To celebrate the announcement of Floyd Iraia, a new gameplay trailer has been released.  Streets of Rage 4 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch sometime this year.
