Predator: Hunting Grounds Gets an April 2020 Launch Date and New Gameplay Trailer

At PlayStation’s State of Play yesterday, the release date for the asymmetrical 4v1 multiplayer title for Predator: Hunting Grounds was announced, we also got a brand new gameplay trailer and details, as well as some fresh new screenshots.

We learned that there will be three Predator classes to choose from with the Hunter, which is said to be the more balanced, perhaps an all-rounded class, the Scout,  which will take its stealth skills to the next level and finally, the Berserker, a brute of a Predator, able to deal and take massive damage in comparison to the other classes.  We’ll also be able to customise the Predator’s image, accessories and weaponry, the game will also offer the choice of both a male and female Predator.

In the gameplay trailer found below, we get a glimpse of some of the iconic weapons in the Predator’s arsenal, such as the lethal Smart Disc and the Combistick spear, we also see a Predator using a Bow & Arrow.  In the trailer, we also get a glimpse of how NPC characters will be used in the game, an aspect to throw an additional spanner into the works for players controlling both the Predator and the marines (Fireteam).

Finally, details were also revealed for the pre-order bonuses and the Digital Deluxe content.  For all those that pre-orders Predator: Hunting Grounds, you will be gifted with the 87’ Predator Skin and a mini-gun for the marines, used by Blain, who never has time to bleed.

In the Digital Deluxe Edition on PS4, you will get exclusive skins for the Predator and marines (aka Fireteam), a digital comic of Predator: Hunters, a digital art book, early access to the Assault Character and Predator Eclipse mask, a Dynamic Theme as well as an XP boost.

Predator: Hunting Grounds will release for PC and PlayStation 4 on April 24th, 2020.
