Predator Officially Confirmed For Mortal Kombat X, Kombat Pack Fully Detailed

Following an accidental reveal on the Xbox Marketplace that confirmed that the Predator will be included in the Mortal Kombat X’s Kombat Pack, the Galaxies most lethal hunter has been “officially” confirmed via an announcement trailer.

The Kombat Pack will feature two guests and two classic characters, Friday 13th’s Jason Voorhees was confirmed last week.  The Predator confirmation also means that Spawn will not be included in the Kombat Pack, though it wouldn’t surprise me if he was released at a later date (perhaps with other characters) among content outside of the Kombat Pack.  However, the season pass content will also include classic characters Tanya (who first appeared in MK4) and Tremor (who appeared in the PS Vita’s MK9 Challenge Tower).

The Kombat Pack will include four DLC packs in total and I couldn’t help but notice that in the Predator/Prey Pack, one of the skins includes turning Jax into Carl Weathers, who of course plays Dillon in the original Predator movie.  It’s just a shame that we can’t have Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch.

Mortal Kombat X: Kombat Pack

The Kombat Pack grants early access to four new playable characters and skin packs. Slash your opponents as Horror Icon Jason Voorhees, or play as Predator, the Ultimate Hunter. Two Klassic Mortal Kombat characters complete the offer. Each playable character comes with a themed skin pack including three new skins for select characters. Also includes The Samurai Pack available on April 14th 2015.
