PREY Typhon Hunter Is Now Available; VR Modes Detailed

 

In case you may not have been aware, the PvP multiplayer mode Typhon Hunter is now available for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One on Prey 2. It will be free for those that purchased the digital deluxe or upgraded their original version of the game with Mooncrash.

The game mode is asymmetrical where one player plays as Morgan Yu, and five play as mimics who hide as everyday objects in plain site. The player playing as Morgan must track down the mimics and destroy them before the time runs out.

Players with VR headset might also be pleased to know that not only will Typhon Hunter be releasing for the VR platforms early next year, but a brand new escape the room style experience is now available where players must put on a VR headset to step into the shoes of a TranStar employee to solve intricate puzzles in order to complete objectives. It will be available for both PC and PSVR.
