Pro Controller Experts NACON enters Gaming Headset Market, after Plantronics Acquisition

NACON (a subsidiary of Bigben Interactive), who are well known for their high quality of gaming controllers and arcade sticks (as well as other accessories) have now entered the world of competitive gaming headsets, following the acquisition of Plantronics Inc., the developers of the RIG headsets.

Already an established industry player, RIG gaming headsets offer a variety of choice in the market, from something on the lower budget scale, as well as for those after something a little more top-end, but whichever RIG gaming headset you choose, it’s an established name that often brings forth a certain seal of quality.  So now with the likes of Bigben Interactive and NACON giving their backing, it should be an interesting year ahead for the companies involved.

The asset acquisition transaction is expected to take place by the end of March this year and all going well, this deal should excel RIG gaming headsets to the next level.  As a nerd of audio gadgets, I can’t wait to see what the collaboration of NACON and RIG can conjure up together.
