Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 release date announced

Keeping up with its yearly tradition, Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 has been announced, with a solid release date and for those last gen gamers that feel that they might be left behind this year, then fear not, because PES 18 will also be coming to PS3 and Xbox 360.  Additionally, for many, the PC version of PES over the years hasn’t had the same level of treatment as its console counterpart, at least in terms of visual and gameplay standards.  However, Konami has promised that the PC version of PES 18 will undergo significant improvements with enhanced graphics and content, “ensuring parity across all current gen platforms.

PES 18 will bring a whole host of new additions and improvements, such as the gameplay being tweaked once more, such as dribbling and further control when in possession of the ball with the use of the stick controls “triggering realistic, subtle movements, to wrong foot defenders” all with the aid of Real Touch+.  The Real Touch+ will also allow the player to take control of the ball with various parts of the body, other than foot and head, by allowing them to utilize  “full body touch” offering a new level of “unpredictability of ball movement.

Set Pieces will also be improved upon, including having the option to now take the one player kick-off when beginning the match.  We will also get new modes and features (including the return of Random Selection Match) such as a 2v2 and 3v3 co-op play to play competitively or casually during online matches.

And of course PES 18 will have improved visuals, as well as a “presentation overhaul” with the User Interface and player likenesses and animations being enhanced, which includes detailed player likenesses, movements and characteristics on the field due to the Real Capture.  Stadiums will be more detailed than ever before, matches during the night or day will look even more realistic with improved lighting and shadow effects.  The stadium tunnels and pitch turfs have also had an overhaul by being “recreated with more than 20,000 intricate elements of genuine data collected at the Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 will release for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 14th.
