A new trailer and a release date have been given to the first person puzzle adventure, The Crow’s Eye.

Developed by the Spanish indie studio 3D2 Entertainment, The Crow’s Eye follows the story of a young man trapped in an abandoned medical university, having been brought there as part of an experiment.

In order to escape, you must use your wits to solve a variety of puzzles spread across nine levels, and along the way uncover a 20 year old mystery that saw the university’s staff and students disappear.

The trailer shows off a bit of gameplay, and the puzzle elements look to set the game apart from the crowd of first person psychological thrillers – you might immediately think of the generic first person ‘puzzles’ we get from most titles of this ilk, however there look to be some interesting mechanics at play. Additionally the music, setting and underlying mystery are definitely intriguing.

The game is due to launch on PC in just 10 days – March 20th. Hopefully we’ll have a review for you around that time.
