I am now at a point where I am afraid to open Twitter, as whenever I do so I get hit with a brand new spoiler for the upcoming remaster of Resident Evil 2. And even after I have un-followed Capcom on the social medial platform, and muted the publisher completely, I’ve still managed to wake up to a Eurogamer article detailing possible collaboration between the Japanese giant Capcom, and the Korean colossi Bluehole, which will involve the abovementioned Resident Evil 2 and PUBG.

As of today, very little is now about the collaboration besides the fact that it is going to supposedly take place entirely on mobile – as per Eurogamer translation. But going by prior leaks for other titles, it is more than likely that the RE2 X PUBG event will also take place on other platforms.

Judging by the recent trends, one would be right to assume that the event will likely add undead to the landscapes of PUBG, as both Blackout and Fortnite have featured those already in some capacity at different points in time. However, it is not out of the question that the above described collaboration will only entail visual customization items, which you will only be able to unlock through the mobile version of Bluehole’s hit BR.

If you unlike me want to know more about the collaboration between the two corporations, then stay tuned as more info will surely follow soon. But if you want to avoid any and all potential spoilers in regards to Resident Evil 2, then you are going to be much better off setting PUBG on the back-burner, at least for the foreseeable future.
