Resident Evil 7 demo playthrough

One of the games that caused the most excitement at last week’s E3, was the announcement of Resident Evil 7 at the PlayStation conference.  The trailer revealed that the game is returning to its horror roots, but perhaps notched up several levels with the footage seemingly inspired from the likes of Outlast and the tragically cancelled P.T/Silent Hills (to name but two) with its new first-person viewpoint.

With its announcement came the news that a playable demo was available to download via the PS4’s PSN Store for all those with an active PlayStation Plus subscription.  So with that news, I decided to record my playthrough of the demo.  The demo description is described as the “beginning hour”, however, you’d be pushed at getting 20 minutes from a single playthrough, which further sparked rumours that there is more to the demo then what the community has discovered.  Especially regarding the mystery of the Dummy Finger.

Both the videos below are identical, other than one has my commentary and the other does not.  And of course, please download the demo now to try it out for yourself.

Resident Evil 7 will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 24th 2017.
