Update: Resident Evil 7 Pre-Order Bonuses confirmed
Update 13/09/16: It has been confirmed via the official Resident Evil Facebook page that the leaked pre-order incentives as seen below are genuine and will be available at select retailers. They have also confirmed that there will be no micro-transactions within the game, so at least that’s a positive. The image used on their Facebook also includes an extra pack; the Shotgun Set (I’ll include the updated image below).
Original article 12/09/16: According to a post of NeoGAF, the potential Resident Evil 7 pre-order incentive DLC has been leaked. The image seen below details various “Survival Packs” which includes extra herbs, ammo, flammable items and chemicals.
Now it should come as no surprise that such pre-order incentives would exist, especially in this day and age, but I wouldn’t say I’m particularly excited about the prospect of generic items to the series such as health herbs being tied to certain retailers.
I suppose with the Tokyo Game Show kicking-off on the 15th of this week, we may learn more and hopefully all will be revealed in terms of the Resident Evil 7 TGS tease from last July and the mystery of the finger! Of course, we’ll bring you all the Resi 7 news from TGS this week.
Resident Evil 7 will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 24th 2017.
