Resident Evil HD Remaster – Developer Walkthrough Video

The producer of the forthcoming Resident Evil HD Remaster, Yoshiaki Hirabayashi has presented us with a new developer diary style video.  In it he speaks of how the team has made the 2D pre-rendered images, to give even more of a visual 3D impression for the environmental textures.  This was a technique used in the original game, but in this modern day, developers have the tools to even improve on an already well worked formula.  I’m sure in the near future leading up to the games release, we’ll see plenty more of these videos.

Resident Evil HD Remaster will release early 2015 for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
