Resident Evil: Revelations 2 – Trailer, Release Dates, Bonus Content & Barry Burton Confirmed!

Finally the release dates for the digital and retail versions of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has been confirmed via the blog of Capcom Community Manager Neil Gortz.  Not only that, but bonus content has been revealed that includes two additional Raid characters with Albert Wesker and Hunk, as well as two additional chapters.  As an added bonus, a new trailer (as seen above), a fresh batch of screenshots and concept art has been released.

First up, let’s get the official juicy details on the legend that is Barry Burton via press release below, as he goes on a pursuit to find the whereabouts of his daughter Moira:

He’s back! Fan favourite and classic S.T.A.R.S. member Barry Burton will be returning in Resident Evil Revelations 2. The man himself can be seen in the brand new reveal trailer and new batch of screenshots just released. Headed for the remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, Moira Burton, Barry meets brand new character Natalia Korda, a little girl who has a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items.

Using this skill alongside Barry’s proven combat abilities, players will need to alternate between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira.

If you pick up the digital season pass for the game, which includes all four episodes, you will be gifted with the two additional Raid characters and two extra episodes.  As already mentioned the two extra Raid characters will be Albert Wesker and Hunk.  Whereas the two bonus episodes will focus each on Moira Burton and another new member of the Resident Evil family with Natalia Korda, who we see in the latest trailer with Barry Burton.

The season pass will cost you £19.99/€24.99/$24.99.  But should you choose to purchase each episode individually it will cost you £4.99/€5.99/$5.99 and each episode will release weekly.  Obviously if you purchase each episode individually, it will cost you the same as the season pass (give or take a few pennies), but you won’t have access to the additional content that comes with the season pass at no extra cost.  So it would make more sense picking up the season pass if you can.
