According to the former NeoGAF poster shinobi602 Assassins Creed Unity will feature a four player co-op mode.  Two tweets were sent out by shinobi602 indicating that two AC Unity demos are planned for this year’s E3, one of which will be for the singleplayer campaign and the other will be for the co-op mode in question.

No other details were revealed, other than the two modes share a “separate narrative”, which would suggest that the singleplayer and co-op mode would have their own unique storylines.  These are all rumours at this time and Ubisoft have not offered any confirmation as of yet.  But a reliable source that spoke to The Escapist confirmed to them that AC Unity will feature a co-op mode and details will be revealed at this year’s E3 in June.

Assassins Creed Unity will release this year for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One, while a separate title called Assassins Creed Comet will release for the PS3 and Xbox 360.  It’s unknown at this time which title will release for the Wii U as of yet.

Below are the two tweets sent out via the Twitter account of shinobi602.
