Thanks to the eagle eyes of the Reddit user DrOversight, he spotted a Google cache page that revealed several potential new features for the new gen version of GTA V that included a new First Person view point.  The Google cache has since been removed, but thankfully DrOversight grabbed the juicy details before they were removed.

As the title of this article suggests, GTA V for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One will feature a First Person viewpoint while walking around on foot, as well showing off the interior while driving vehicles.  We already learned at the beginning of this month that the new gen version of GTA V will feature improved weather and enhanced damage effects, as well as more active traffic, more wildlife, even more music tracks and gamers that pre order the new gen version (that already own the game on last gen) will be gifted $500k of in-game credit to both of your online and offline campaigns.

However in these newly leaked details we could also be look forward to new jobs, weapons, vehicles, properties, new animals in both online and offline, new random events and more.  Below are those leaked details to feast your eyes upon:

  • A brand new first person mode for vehicles that shows the interior of the vehicle, including working speedometers, tachometers, dash lights, and more
  • A brand new first person mode while on foot
  • A wealth of new easter eggs and random events for Story Mode
  • New animals roaming Los Santos
  • Animals in GTA Online?
  • Players that transfer characters from Xbox 360 or PS3 will receive free new weapons and a free garage in GTA Online.
  • Newly overhauled character selection screen

Hopefully as always with publisher patterns following any kind of leaks, Rockstar Games are likely to announce this news officially very soon (assuming that its genuine and I believe that it is) and when they do, we’ll update you here right away.

The new and improved version of GTA V will release for the PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th, with the PC release arriving on January 27th 2015, which comes with its very own video editor feature for you creative PC gamers out there.
