Warner Bros. hasn’t exactly been hush hush about Shadow of Mordor, as there is always some new trailer or information releasing every other day. Following the pattern, we have gotten a new introduction trailer today that deals with The Wraith.

Binding them is their unfortunate tragedy with both of them having their family killed, with the only variable being that one has made it out alive. Brought on by eerily similar circumstances, now our two heroes must battle through hordes in pursuit of the ruthless dark lord.
To sum up who The Wraith, Celebrimbor is: One of the most powerful elves of the Second Age, responsible for crafting the Rings of Power alongside Sauron, was murdered by Sauron. The spirits of the Elves are immortal within Middle-earth, so Celebrimbor chose not to return to the Undying Lands after he was killed, Celebrimbor wants to destroy the Dark Lord; as Sauron does not have the One Ring, Celebrimbor can become powerful enough to challenge him within Mordor. The power of Celebrimbor, as the maker of the Rings, is very closely tied with the power of the Rings.

Furthermore, we have also found out that GAME in the UK will be releasing a special steelbook edition that will include the game, and some DLC. Those who are interested can pre-order the game here, and it will automatically net them the special edition.

The game will follow Talion as he goes on a perilous journey to exact revenge from Sauron, for taking away everything he had ever loved. The path in front of him isn’t going to be easy by any means, as Sauron will be guarded with some of the most ruthless and elite killers. However, unfortunately for him, Talion isn’t your average warrior, and is instead joined buy a very powerful wraith.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor will release on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 on the 7th of October.
