Shaq is back baby! Shaquille O’neal was recently enshrined as an NBA Hall of Famer back in 2016,  2K wanted to take this special occasion and bring Shaq back to the court with a special game cover, including exclusive memorabilia and in-game content.

Shaquille O’Neal will be featured on the cover of the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition. This special edition of the top-rated NBA player and icon that needs no introduction, those that are familiar with Shaq will remember “The Diesel…The Big Aristotle…Superman…Shaq Daddy…”

“I want to thank NBA 2K for their continuous support of my basketball and broadcast career,” said O’Neal, whose Hall of Fame enshrinement late last year celebrates a storied 19-year career. “I’m excited to be on the cover of the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition and I hope my fans have a blast playing it up big man style and re-creating my most legendary in-game moments!”

 

 

Gamers can pre-order the NBA 2K18 Legend Edition at select retailers and digitally. Those that pre-order will receive special Shaq memorabilia and in-game content.

O’Neal’s Legend Edition appearance on NBA 2K18 is Shaq’s third cover appearance for NBA 2K. O’Neal, who played 19 NBA seasons, was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

The NBA 2K18 Legend Edition will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The NBA 2K18 Legend Edition physical edition is available exclusively at GAME.

NBA 2K18 will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC on September 15, 2017.
