Silent Hill Developer is Working on a New Game

Masahiro Ito, the art director that worked on Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 has revealed via his official Twitter account that he is working on a new game.  We don’t know at this time whether this will be a new Silent Hill or even anything Survival Horror related, but it will be interesting to learn what he is working on none the less.

Ito took to Twitter stating “I’m working on a title as a core member.”, but he also said that he “hope(s) the title won’t be cancelled.”, perhaps alluding to Konami cancelling Silent Hills?

It’s all speculation at this stage, as we have no idea what the game is or whether or not Ito is even working with Konami, but hopefully we’ll find out soon enough.  It’s also worth noting that Ito was also involved with the development of the abomination that is Metal Gear Survive.
