Skyrim: First in-game trailer released
It may still be some eight months away, but Bethesda are continuing to hype up the next chapter in The Elder Scrolls series with this awe-inspiring trailer – featuring some damn-fine in-game footage:
Bethesda may still be in my bad-books for the New Vegas shambles, but even I’ll admit that this is looking good. Environments are beautifully-crafted, particularly with the light breaking through the canopy in the forests. Towns and villages look active and alive, rather than simply a collection of people walking around some buildings. You’ll also notice some implied references to the dual-wielding of spells with weapons, and the stalking of wildlife.
Expect this to be a big one.
