Sonic Forces First Gameplay footage revealed.

Sega revealed the first gameplay footage of Sonic Forces, the “modern Sonic” game previously known as Project Sonic or Sonic 2017.

it’s not hard to miss that Sonic Forces looks similar to previous 3D Sonic instalments such as, Sonic Colors, Sonic Generations and Sonic Unleashed. comes to mind. The camera sits behind Sonic as he races through city streets, prompting the player to jump and dodge enemies or environmental elements.

Even though the gameplay video is short, it’s clear that Sonic is in a spot of trouble with some Death Egg Robot sentinels. A giant robot is destroying the environment and shooting fireballs that explode all around Sonic.  In typical Sonic fashion, dodging the projectiles is part of the gameplay.

.Sonic Forces will include two different versions of  Sonic . One is the cartoony 2D origininal, while the other is designed to look like the more modern 3D character from games in 3D games mentioned above. Mainly, Sonic Generations.  The game is set for release this holiday season on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
