Sonic Mania Confirmed for August release date, new trailer released.

Sonic Mania has a new trailer that finally confirmed the release date for the title. The  retro-inspired game will releasing worldwide on August 15th.

The trailer is full of charm and beautiful hand-drawn animations of Sonic. The opening on the trailer does a nice nod to some bunny ears, referencing to when Sonic was originally designed to be a bunny before becoming the lovable blue hedgehog we all know today. The music is also pumping in the trailer and really does offer some nostalgia. Sega are really showing their love for the 2D style sonic with this trailer seen below, along with a batch of new screenshots.

Sonic Mania will be available on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 15th.  Digital pre-orders are 10% off, bringing the price to £13.49/$17.99.
