Via his Twitter account Sony Executive, Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the PS4 DualShock 4 controller will support Windows.  When a fellow tweeter asked the question “Any chance you guys release a driver to use DS4 with windows? Or something?”  Yoshida replied “the analog sticks and buttons will work just fine”.

It would have been too much to ask for all the functions to work in time for release, such as the touch pad, light bar and motion sensors.  Though hopefully there may be some official Drivers that may allow these functions to work sometime after the PS4 release.  But either way it will come as a relief to PC gamers knowing that the basic functions will at least work, for those that prefer the Sony brand control pad.
