Looks like Battlefront II’s teaser trailer has been leaked, and by non other than the official twitter account of EA Star Wars themselves. However, from what we can see from the trailers, the game will be not only incorporating characters from The Force Awakens, but the prequels as well.

In the trailer you can spot Darth Maul, and from what looks like it, Yoda about to go toe to toe which indicates that these will all be available as Hero characters, letting players take control of them.

Rey and Kylo Ren are also spotted in the trailer, which will hopefully mean that they are available as playable characters as well.

What piques my interest however, is that there seems to be a campaign in the offering now, something that was absent from the previous. Apparently you are going to be playing as one of the emperor’s trooper this time, which should make the entire thing much more interesting.

We absolutely loved how robust Battlefront felt when we reviewed it, but it did launch with a lack of content, something I hope that EA will fix with the next instalment. However, with the pre-order content locked yet again which promises players characters from the upcoming The Last Jedi movie, my hopes are not that high.

Release date was not mentioned in the trailer, thus we have no idea of when the game will specifically launch, but it should be during the fall season if EA’s major releases are anything to go by. We will update the article if anything different or more is revealed.
