Oculus Rift’s Horror Game “The Forest” Has New Screenshots

The Oculus Rift is constantly getting bigger and better as time goes by and in November last year, it was announced that there was a new survival horror game on its way to scare everyone silly called The Forest, and now we have some brand new screenshots. The Forest is being developed by indie company SKS Games and in a nutshell pits you against all kinds of mutant enemies and elements, while you try and survive in an open world forest environment.

Everything in the game will change from day to day from the weather, plants growing and dying and even the tides changing from morning to evening. You will have to scavenge and set up camps to stay alive, if an enemy doesn’t kill you, then starvation or freezing and getting pneumonia probably will. As you progress you will be able to make your shelter stronger and deadlier to anyone who may invade. This game is already looking to be good to go on Steam and the “Alpha” version of the game is due sometime this Spring. The full game will then be released later this year.
