Update: Street Fighter V Gets A New Character Reveal Trailer & Beta Announced

 

Update: Capcom have confirmed that Street Fighter V on PS4 and PC will have an online beta. In North America, players who pre-order the game will automatically be enrolled into the beta program. Capcom have not yet revealed if the beta will be coming to the UK and the rest of Europe, but we’ll keep you posted when we learn more.

Original Story 24/02/15: Capcom have just released a brand new gameplay trailer and a few screenshots for Street Fighter V. The latest trailer reveals a fan requested character to return to the series.  If you haven’t already guessed, the reveal shows Charlie Nash.

Nash is finally making his Street Fighter comeback with a starring role in Street Fighter V. Check him out in the trailer above and the screenshots below.

First mentioned in Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (1991) by Guile during his quest for revenge; Nash was a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and one of Guile’s best friends. Although it was hinted that M.Bison was involved in Charlie’s disappearance in the past, it was never really fully explained…

Street Fighter V will be releasing on PC and PS4 in 2015 and will be cross compatible online with both platforms.
