Takedown: Red Sabre Out Now On Steam

505 Games have today announced the release of Takedown: Red Sabre for PC gamers, you can now purchase the game for £11.99 on Steam. It has also been announced that the game will be coming to the Xbox 360 in coming weeks but no release date has been set, it has also been mentioned the game will be coming to the PSN but again no details have arisen.

Takedown: Red Sabre is realistic, closed-quarters, squad-based tactical FPS. A thinking man’s shooter. The player that takes things slow and plans their tactics carefully will overcome the player who runs in with guns blazing. Close-quarters battle brings the fight inside, as you see SWAT teams or SOF units taking down small numbers of dangerous adversaries. Non-linear environments allow for multiple routes and tactics and add replayability.

This title was created thanks to the project being funded through Kickstarter, which was started up by studio Serellan “which is made up of veteran developers whose many credits include tactical shooters such as Ghost Recon, SWAT and SoCom“.
