Telltale Games has announced that season three of The Walking Dead will premiere this November, though no exact release date has been provided as of yet.  However, we do know that season three will have its very own title and that will be ‘A New Frontier’.

Co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games; Kevin Bruner had this to say on this announcement for season three:

“This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what’s come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “As a harrowing and horrific drama, ‘A New Frontier’ will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what’s left of humanity itself.”

In the third season, not only will we be playing as a teenage Clementine four years after the events of season two, but we will also introduce a new playable character with Javier.

Telltales The Walking Dead season three will be available for the usual console formats, as well as for PC and smart phone devices.  Also, just like Batman: The Telltale Series, there will be a season pass disc available at retail, for those that don’t want to buy the game digitally (even though it will serve the same purpose).
