#TGS2014: MGSV: The Phantom Pain – New Trailer & Gameplay Demo

Earlier this month, Konami released a teaser trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that featured the deadly sniper assassin Quiet.  Now direct from the Tokyo Game Show the full version of that trailer has been released, you can find it below.  Also if that wasn’t enough MGSV: TPP goodness for you, then a 20 minute gameplay demo was also on display.

It’s fair to say that the gameplay demo is pretty awesome (but what else would you expect?). It features some nostalgic suits, new ways to distract the enemy, jungle trekking and more interestingly it shows how you can call in Quiet via the Fulton Balloon Recovery System, to give you a helping hand in the battlefield.

Also do you remember when Hideo Kojima tweeting an image that read “Metal Gear Collection”? (The image is shown via this link).  Many had speculated that it will be a new collection of games to release on PC and perhaps yet again forthe console.  Well put those dreams and hopes to bed, because that particular tweet was actually teasing us with a new Metal Gear clothing range, modelled by Nicki Minaj.  The clothing range will cover both men and women.  Dam you Hideo….DAM YOU!

No release date has been confirmed yet, but Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is expected to release for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2015.
