During the opening days of the Tokyo Game Show, Hideo Kojima and Konami not only revealed the full version of a trailer that starred the deadly Sniper known as Quiet, but they also had on display a 20 minute plus gameplay demonstration of Snake infiltrating an enemy base located in the jungles of Africa, while having Quiet back him up with her precision aiming, after he had called her in using the Fulton Balloon Recover System.  You can check out that footage here.

But today I have for you,  some screenshots from that gameplay demonstration, courtesy of Konami (as seen below).  While no release date has been given for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, many are hoping that it will release next year for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Following that awesome gameplay demonstration there have been a number of video’s making the rounds and these are two of my favourites. You may have noticed that during the gameplay demo a wolf pup was shipped off to the Motherbase courtesy of the FBRS, but if you had missed it and too save you searching through the 20+ minute demo, I’ll include it below, along with footage of Lisa from the P.T demo being used as a decoy.

Speaking of P.T/Silent Hills, did any of you catch the insanely disturbing Silent Hills concept trailer from the Tokyo Game Show?  Well apparently this trailer was made before the P.T demo was released and was only really intended for office use as it was used by the developers to help create the horror tone for the game.  So I guess to make the trailer as resourceful as possible, there was at least one recycled character model from another Konami game.During the trailer in question, it featured a boy with a severed head with creepy crawlies coming out of his mouth, but you may or may have not recognised that boy from somewhere before.  Well courtesy of the eagle eyes at zombellanna.tumblr.com, they recognised that the boy was none other the Chico from Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes!

When speaking of Chico’s unpleasant cameo, Hideo Kojima said that “he sure looks like he’s having a lot more fun than he is in that cage. (chuckles)”.  Hideo you cruel, cruel man.
