Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections have announced  that its new open-world MMO racing game, The Crew, will be missing its second rescheduled release date of November 11th to get some further tweaks under the hood before being unveiled just under a month later on December 2nd.

In a blog post from the company, Creative Director Julian Gerighty states that the feedback and suggestions from beta participants convinced the team to delay to accommodate these and meet everyone’s high expectations. Among the suggestions mentions were adjustments to difficulty (tweaking police A.I), a better integration of voice chat to help when ‘crewing’ and even the option to turn off the HUD so players could enjoy the scenery when free-roaming in the game’s massive map of the United States.

For those who still have yet to play the game, a second console closed beta is planned for November.

The Crew will release for the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on December 2nd in North America and the 5th across Europe. For more information on the game, check out our previous coverage including closed beta thoughts here.
