The Division Gets Three New Interesting Screenshots

Ubisoft’s upcoming giant MMO, The Division may be a bit faraway, but Ubisoft have released 3 new images from their upcoming game.  Unfortunately, we have no news regarding the release date at the moment, only that it was currently rumored to be delayed into 2015. Anyways, check out the images below, and stay tuned to Push-Start for further details related to this game in the near future!

In the image above, you can see a bent metal door. Now, I don’t know if this will be an effect of a realtime explosion/ram or if this is a pre-rendered scene, but if it is realtime, that would be awesome. Also, you’ve got solid lightning here, such as on the bents of the metal, where it is more shiny.

Again, more complex lightning effects in this image. The way it interacts with volumetric smoke here though, is the highlight, you’ve got precision piercing through the smoke apparently. By precision piercing, I mean light does go through the smoke, rather then blocked by it. Also, shadows form on it as well.

This isn’t really a new image, but you can see more lightning rays here, which interacts nicely with the environment to create a very dystopian ambiance!
