The Evil Within Gets Stellar New Screenshots!

Behold horror fans, as the most anticipated survival horror game by Shinji Mikami, The Evil Within has got some stellar new screenshots. These shots do an amazing job of showcasing the eerie ambiance the players will face in this dark and twisted setting. I personally love the screenshot where Sebastian is trying to close the vault door on the terrifying Box Man. It shows that the enemies will be more powerful than you, and evading them will be the best course of action.  It definitely showcases, Survival Horror.

The game will follow Detective Sebastian as he goes on a psychological rollercoaster ride, trapped in a damned place filled with terrifying foes that stalk him at every turn. To get out of this ordeal alive, he must stay one step ahead of his enemies and navigate through a treacherous maze, all so while facing his worst fears.

The game is being developed under Shinji Mikami, the well-known creator of Resident Evil 4. Shinji Mikami hopes to bring gamers back to the true roots of Survival Horror, by letting them control a strong lead rather then someone who is psychologically unstable as Shinji hates vulnerable protagonists.
