The Path to Die Looks Like a Unique Blend Between Zelda and Hotline Miami

The Path to Die was originally greenlit on Steam, and even though it is in quite an advanced state, it will be appearing on Kickstarter in May in order to obtain funds which will be used to better polish the game.

The gameplay looks like an exciting blend between Hotline Miami and at points The Legend of Zelda. What is interesting about it however, is its combat mechanic which will put an interesting spin on the much loved twin-stick gameplay where instead of shooting with the right stick you will be wielding and utilising the sword.

The Path to Die is going to be set in Medieval Japan, which of course lends its aesthetics to a beautiful and lush art-style evident in the screenshots below.
