Witcher-3-main

Now, I am sure most of you have watched the VGX trailer for The Witcher 3. However, as my friend Sid told me, this trailer is not lacking at all, as it has an amazing amount of detail that you might have missed while watching the trailer, and I have to say, he is DEAD-RIGHT. Go ahead and watch the video below first, and continue reading for the details that he pointed out, as they are nothing short of amazing!

Ok done? First of all, this trailer was overall well made, with amazing choice of music and great writing. In this trailer, you are introduced to The Hunt, which seems to be the main villain here. Also, in case you are wondering, what Geralt means by, “I returned!”… Well, SPOILER ALERT!!! He used to be one of the members of The Wild Hunt. That’s right, that is how badass he is!

Anyways, here are some amazing details from the video, presented to you in GIF form, courtesy of Sid.

1-1

Ok, as you can see above, the combat looks to be ABSOLUTELY violent. Geralt actually manages to chop off the guys hand and the blood spatters everywhere. Also, the combat looks to be truly refined, and polished as you can see him seamlessly and realistically hoping to the other guy to attack him!

From this GIF, you can see how the environment reacts to Geralt’s aard attack. Not only do the table and the chair move, as we know that is in a lot of games already, however as Sid mentioned, so do the items ON THE DESK! These items fly according to the impact! It looks fantastic.

And finally, THIS… is my favourite. You can see a handful of items in this image alone as Sid pointed out. As you ride your horse through this barren land, kicking off dust behind him, flocks of birds fly everywhere above you and the smoke from the chimneys in the horizon, flows away. However, what really impressed me was the jawdropping draw distance. You can really get a feel of how big the world will be, from this image alone! Also, check out how much vegetation there is. Everything seems amazingly detailed. Below is another image, where you can look at the Draw Distance offered by this game.

Now, some of you might be wondering if it is all in-game, and what platform? Well, I can assure you that it is definitely, ALL IN-GAME and is running on the PC! So get ready to witness the bombastic end of Geralt’s Trilogy, as The Witcher 3 will conclude his story in an epic fashion and will be out for the PC next year with ports on PS4 and Xbox One.
