Tiny Brains Release Date Announced

Pubisher 505 Games and indie game studio Spearhead Games are teaming up to release the multi-player platformer Tiny Brains which is coming out this November. Making it out in time for the PlayStation 4 launch, Tiny Brains will be available on PC and the PlayStation Network on November 15th. Have a peak at the trailer!

Follow the adventures of these (adorable) lab-animals in this 4-player puzzle platformer. You have to help these critters escape the Mad Scientist’s cruel experiments and get to safety. Tiny Brains is a four person multiplayer game that offers online and local multiplayer and a co-op campaign. Additional challenge levels and a competitive mode will also be available to add more content and another kind of experience to the game.

Puzzles throughout the game will be physics based and similar to Trine, you need to utilise the unique skills of each of the characters to get through the levels. There are multiple ways for you to complete the levels depending on how you work with your team mates. From the sounds of it, there will be no mode where you can solo play as it’s a “truly social, next generation multiplayer title.“

Tiny Brains is the début title from Spearhead Games, founded by Malik Boukhira (Army of Two) and Simon Darveau (Assassin’s Creed III, Dead Space 3). So I will be intrigued as to how that turns out, as it is quite a difference from the AAA titles that they have worked on in the past.
