It seems that Creative Assembly have released the second downloadable content pack for Total War; Rome II.  The Nomadic Tribes Culture pack, has been released this week on the PC and will be free of charge up until the 29th of October.

In this DLC they introduce a new playable culture, consisting of three factions for players to choose from: the Roxolani, the Massagetae, and the Royal Scythians.  With this culture being Nomads, they will specialise in cavalry units and amongst these new units are new lancers and mounted archers.

There are new buildings, cultural traits, cultural objectives and a military tradition.  For more information on the new DLC feel free to watch the trailer below and check out the DLC on the Steam page.

Creative Assembly have offered this DLC free for a week to thank their fans for all the support through ROME II and then it will revert back to its usual price of £5.99.

Mike Simpson from Creative Assembly had this to say:

We’ve had more gamers playing Rome II, and for longer, in its first month than any other Total War to date,”

“We are going to continue to work on gameplay feature balancing with our community who have been hugely helpful in feeding back on the game. Offering this DLC for free for the first week it’s on sale is a celebration and a small thank you to them for helping us make this the biggest TW yet.
