Ultra Street Fighter IV Add New Modes, Features, Trailer & Screenshots

Capcom recently held the Capcom Cup fighting game event and during this prestigious event two new gameplay modes were revealed for Ultra Street Fighter IV which is set for release on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in 2014. The new modes are Online Training and Elimination which is a team based battle mode.

Online Training Mode will be similar to the existing training mode with the addition of being able to invite another player to train against online. This is in the hope that players will learn from one another and seek advice, as well as making the training a little more exciting.

Elimination is a team battle mode. Players can choose a team of fighters, in this case you have a team of 3, to fight against another team. Each character uses a single life bar across multiple rounds. If you lose your life, you’re out and the remaining fighters continue. Each win results in a small replenishment of life.

Ultra Street Fighter IV also adds 5 playable characters bringing the total roster to 44, as well as rebalancing the move sets, adding new Ultra and Super moves and the addition of the Red Focus attack, a move that will absorb multiple attacks in order to deal out a powerful blow and escape tricky situations
