Unite to Unlock the Premier Gameplay Trailer for Assassin’s Creed III

Similar to the reveal campaign for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Ubisoft has unveiled their ‘Unite To Unlock’ website in which they encourage gamers to spread the word of Assassin’s Creed III via Facebook and Twitter, culminating in the release of the World Gameplay Premier of the game. The target is set at 1,776,000 posts, tweets and shares to unlock the video, of which you can catch a teaser of below! See Connor in action along with his signature weapons, showcasing the new snow technology seen in the frontier landscape, as well as the improved facial expressions. Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratonhnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Gamers become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin’s Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.

Assassin’s Creed III is set for release on October 30th (31st in Europe) for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. A WiiU version is reportedly also in the works.
