Up to 75% off certain Steam games in Thanksgiving sale (updated)
Yes it’s that time of the season again, time for yet another wacky mass sale on Valve’s digital distribution system Steam. The theme this time is “Give & Get” in celebration of the thanksgiving national holiday in America. For each day of the sale (that runs from the 24th to 29th of November) there will be a set of titles with massively reduced prices of up to 75% off as well as a set of “Gift pack” deals. The way the gift packs work is that you actually purchase multiple copies of the game for one price, one for your own account and the rest to give to your friends on Steam as a present. On top of all this Valve is apparently going to chose 30 steam users each day and give them the top 5 games on their steam wish-list for free! There’s no cost for participating so if you have a steam account with an empty wish list now’s a good time to update it if you want to be in with a chance to win. Still not certain if all ten slots need to be filled in order to be eligible, but it doesn’t hurt to fill it up anyway just to be sure.
