Let’s be honest, the vanilla version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter looked absolutely spectacular and had perhaps the best visuals to date, so it wouldn’t be uncommon for you to think that it couldn’t get any better. Fortunately, it can, and it just has. Introducing the Redux Edition, a free upgrade for all Ethan Carter players on the PC which changes the games engine to the cutting edge Unreal Engine 4.
It is now available for everyone on Steam and GOG as a separate game, and more details as to what has actually been improved in it can be found on the developer’s blog.
