Alison Road is a first-person horror title developed by a newly found UK based indie studio going by the name of Studio Lilith, which consists of 6 team members.  The game takes clear inspiration from P.T and Silent Hill, but that is by no means a bad thing, as everything is inspired/influenced by something, one way or another.

The developers have now released prototype gameplay footage, which gives us an indication to the kind of the tension that will be provided in the game and its surroundings.  Any British resident will instantly recognise the design of the house and the brief glimpse of its neighbours with a glance over the back garden fence.  This house is where the “singleplayer campaign will mostly take place”, so I’m interested to see where else we might visit in the game.

What we do know of the story is that Allison Road will feature an unnamed protagonist and he wakes up during the early hours of the morning without “recollection of the prior events” and he must survive five nights to uncover just what the hell is going on and the whereabouts of his family, which have gone missing.  Not only will he be torn with what’s real and what’s not, he must face dark entities and in the footage below, we are introduced to Lily, but she is one of many.

The gameplay footage is a slow burner , so you wouldn’t miss much if you watched the first few minutes, then skipped forward to around the nine minute mark, but if you can watch the whole video, then I would recommended doing so.

While no formats have been confirmed, I think it’s a safe bet that it will release on PC and hopefully PS4 (especially as there’s a PS4 console in the demo) and Xbox One also.  You can keep updated with the progress of Allison Road via its official Facebook page.
