With the noise made by Guild Wars 2 having truly died down and World of Warcraft reaching the end (content wise) of another expansion, there is a large gap for someone to fill. I’ve covered Wildstar a couple of times now, but it was still a fair way off and information was pretty sparse. We’ve had quite a few videos from Carbine Studios regarding how the game plays and introducing the various races, we’ve also heard about how four out of the six classes will control. Now however, they will be reintroducing them to us over the next six weeks.

Confused? You could be forgiven for scratching your head somewhat. Carbine feel that they have progressed with each class so much that they want to show us in an “informative way”.

It does mean we have to wait a little longer to find out the final two classes, but we will be graced with the knowledge “soon”, according to Carbine Studios.

The best news though is about the beta. Said to be starting in December, we are promised that “tons of people” will be invited to help give feedback and test out their upcoming title. So if you do want to be invited, follow this link to fill in an application. Make sure you do it thoroughly to increase your chances of an invite.

From what we’ve seen, Carbine seem to be putting a lot of thought into their MMO, more importantly though, they are listening to feedback and making changes all the time. How much they have changed is yet to be seen, but the upcoming weeks will show us in regards to the classes, that much is certain.

We will keep you posted with the beta access and hopefully we will be able to rangle up some codes to give away.
