Wolfenstein Youngblood – Release Date, New Trailer & Play Co-Op with Friend for Free

Bethesda and Machine Games has revealed the release date for Wolfenstein: Youngblood which will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on July 26th.  However, that is not all, because if you purchase the Deluxe Edition, you’ll be able to invite a friend to play the campaign in co-op, even if they don’t own a copy of the game.

By purchasing the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get what is called the “Buddy Pass” and this will allow you to invite one friend at a time to play the game with you.  Once your friend stops playing the game with you, they won’t have access to the game, but they and another can join you for any future playthrough’s if you invite them.  The Buddy Pass is certainly a good feature and is an excellent way to make use of a game playable in co-op, though it is a shame that this feature is exclusive to the Deluxe Edition alone.  Additionally by picking up the Deluxe Edition, you’ll also receive the Cyborg Skin Pack, which grants you titanium alloy versions of the Power Suit, guns, combat knives, and hatchets, in comparison to the standard versions acquired in-game.

Also if you pre-order Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you’ll be gifted with the Legacy Pack which includes BJ Blazkowicz’s Jacket Power Suit from The New Colossus, his Army Power Suit, his Pipe and Knife from The Old Blood, as well as a WW2 Weapon Skin Set.

In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you’ll play as one of BJ’s twin daughters (or both in co-op), Jess and Soph, as they continue the fight against the Nazi’s, while in search of their missing father.  Finally, above you’ll find a brand new story trailer, as well as some screenshots and box images art below.
