Wonder Momo Anime & Game Announced!

An exciting new anime is on it’s way to us and that anime is called “Wonder Momo!” (I cant help but sing it in the style of the original Wonder Woman theme). Not only is it in gorgeous anime form, but the awesome team behind Ducktales Remastered, WayFoward Technologies, are bringing a Wonder Momo game to PC and Android phones. Fingers crossed we see an instalment heading to iOS devices, because I would love to try this game out.

This isnt the first time Wonder Momo has been in video game form. The game was released in Japanese arcades back in 1987, but was ported to PC-Engine (known as the TurboGrafx-16 outside Japan) in 1989, and both versions are available on the Japanese Wii Virtual Console.

The latest instalment follows Momoko, daughter of the original Wonder Momo and protagonist of the Wonder Momo webcomic and anime series. Momoko is a high school student who wants to be a pop idol, dont all high schoolers? But of course its not happening, so instead she ends up becoming Wonder Momo and has to protect the Earth from the evil alien Warudemon! Looks like singing and being a student will have to take a back seat for now. Oh and did we mention she can summon a T-Rex? Well we just did and Momoko can!
