Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive has released the latest free update of content for co-op zombie shooter World War Z, wrapping up the first season of content with Proving Grounds.  The free content includes the new Weekly Challenge mode which enforces gameplay modifiers to change the way we play the game.  Two of the examples given are all weapons being replaced with crossbows and players will take damage if they stand too close to each other.

By completing the Weekly Challenges, players will be rewarded with a new currency which can be spent on character customisation to change the likes of colour schemes, headgear, accessories and more.  The new update will also include a new “Classic Battle Rifle”, as well as fixing a number of issues and quality of life improvements.  Also, releasing alongside the Proving Grounds update is the Biohazard DLC bundle which includes three new weapon skins and a tomahawk axe.
