WWE 2K15 – MyCareer Mode Announced
2K Games has announced that WWE 2K15 will have its very own MyCareer mode, a mode that has already proved very popular in 2K’s NBA series. In WWE 2K15’s MyCareer mode, once you create your very own Superstar, you will partake on a journey from the WWE Performance Centre in Orlando Florida, to an NXT upstart, right-on through to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
When accepted into NXT you will have a series of matches and objectives to prove your worth, as you face-off against the likes of The Bulgarian Brute Rusev, if you just “BOLIEVE”, you will also come up against Bo Dallas, UK’s own Adrian Neville, as well as Sami Zayn and Corey Graves. All of which will also be playable characters in WWE 2K15.
Once you have developed in NXT and are ready for the big time, you will be heading towards flagship shows such Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, not to mention WWE’s PPV’s such as the Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and more. The decisions you make and how you progress in the MyCareer mode, will also have an effect on your campaign, such as rivalries, alliances and even social media interactions, and of course the WWE Universe will respond accordingly to your actions in and out of the squared circle. This story mode will have multiple branching storylines, twists and surprises. Making this the most diverse mode in recent years, offering more replay value than ever before. Not to mention WWE 2K15 will also have the WWE Rivalries mode that will be supported by DLC further down the line.
President at Visual Concepts Greg Thomas said that “MyCareer is a mode beloved by our NBA 2K fans and is a perfect fit for WWE 2K15,” said Greg. “We are eager to deliver a comprehensive career mode experience for the first time and consider its inclusion a critical step forward for the franchise.”
WWE 2K15 will release for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 28th in North America and then the 31st across Europe. The game will then release for the PS4 and Xbox One on November 18th for North America and the 21st for Europe.
