Gamescom: Minecraft Confirmed For Playstation 4

This was possibly one of the most shocking moments of the evening for me. Minecraft is coming to the Playstation 4! Great news for fans like myself (Currently own it on PC and Xbox 360), I will be able to continue building all sorts of weird and wonderful creations from the comfort of my next-gen console.

 

 

Unfortunately they didn’t dive into much more detail on what would be involved in the PS4 version. I’m assuming that they will be introducing skin packs and the updates (like creative mode and hopefully adventure and hardcore mode) into the game. I would love a texture pack mode, which hopefully might be possible with the next-gen abilities. As soon as we get some more information on Minecraft PS4 Edition, we will let you know!!
